The year of 2013 has come and gone...and what an incredible year it has been!! So much happened in 2013 that I would have never dreamed!! Getting married, going on an incredible honeymoon, coming back and getting into Nevada style farming, finding out we are expecting, all the ups and downs of a drought, (which was actually a blessing so Leighton and I could have more time together :) and so many other little things that just make life such a blessing!
The year of 2014 is very uncertain for farming....there is absolutely no water in the river or reservoir. If we don't get a flood, there will be no farming. But the Lord is always faithful and we are praying and seeking Him as to what we are to do this year.
Our Little One is due February 1st...give or take a couple weeks! I've heard that your first baby is almost always late...so we shall see! I'm measuring 2 weeks bigger and I'm already on the small side "inside" they said, so who knows...maybe I'll go early! Leighton and I are so looking forward to welcoming this Little blessings into our life...so many prayers have been answered by this Little life!!
One of my "New Year's Resolutions" is to get the whole house cleaned from top to bottom and organized before this baby comes! I've been in major "nesting" mode for about a month! Leighton keeps teasing me about how many times I am cleaning everything. :)
Since Kristina and I live so close, we are going to start a Bible study together. Its such a blessing having her so close. It will be a lot of fun having our children so close! I only wish my sister Kelli and her family lived closer! But, The Lord's Way's are not our ways...so we will enjoy every time we get to see them!
